digging into bitcoin mining and I am looking for some information on mining pools

I am looking for recommendations on the best mining pools for mybitaxe or Nerdaxe set-up here in the US? I am new to this and want to make sure I’m maximizing my returns. Any advice on factors to consider when choosing a pool or specific pools you’d suggest? thanks in advance :)
