I’ve been reading articles for some time now about the threat that quantum computers may pose to Bitcoin. I’d like to ask how much of this is actually true, and what is being done to prevent these computers from threatening the stability of Bitcoin. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

Bitcoin mining may be providing incremental support to the Russian ruble, Central Bank Governor Elvira Nabiullina said, while cautioning that the effect is difficult to measure because much of the sector still operates in a legal and reporting gray zone.
