Unpruning a node

I loaded Bitcoin core 29.0 and the default was a 2GB pruning. After running for a little while, I've decided to change that to a full copy. When I tried to remove the prune setting, it gave me a reminder that I would need to re-upload. When I click OK it gives me an error message. Now, the program won't start at all and I can't get back to the settings menu, it just loops the reminder to re-load then error messages. I've tried deleting and reloading the program - same.
