My friends and I buy coffees at a café. I purchase their coffees in fiat currency and pay the seller directly. My friends then reimburse me using Bitcoin through a multisignature transaction.

  • Is there a difference if each friend sends their payment to me individually—meaning a single input (each friend’s address) and a single output (my public key)

  • Compared to combining many inputs (all of their addresses) into a single output (my public key)?
