bitcoin-qt just terminates after an hour without big fanfare

I had my bitcoin core running on my ubuntu machine quite nicely for quite some time, but then forgot about it for about a year or two. When I finally started it again it was near two years behind and started to update. But when I looked the next day it was nowhere to be seen. First I updated to the latest version and then I re-started and again it terminated after (probably) a few hours. I made another attempt and when that failed I ran it with -reindex. That re-indexed the first 4-5 years but then started to terminate again after some time - sometimes less than an hour. I don't see any error messages, the application is just gone. I added a default bitcoin.conf without any effect. The log of the last run is at https://bbnj.us/files/debug.log I would highly appreciate any help you could give me, what might be going wrong. Possible rollback due to lazy reveal in BRC20?

Let's assume user A committed an inscription with {"op":"deploy", "tick": "test"} at block 100 (without revealing it yet). Then user B commits and reveals the exact same inscription at block 101. Because the indexer isn't aware that A's earlier commit was actually for "test," it recognizes B's "test" token as the official one. From blocks 101 to 199, users freely perform various "test" token transactions (e.g., "mint" , "transfer" ). However, at block 200, user A finally reveals their earlier commit. In that case, will the indexer roll back all "test"-related histories that happened between blocks 101 and 199?
