Bitcoin Core 28.1.0 freezes when I hover the cursor over open or migrate wallet

As per the title. Everytime I hover the mouse cursos over open or migrate wallet the program freezes and I have to end task at the windows task manager. Using windows 10 and btc core 28.1.0 unpruned. Already tried reinstalling the software but no good. Tried downgrading to the 27 version but it says my blockchain is corrupted and ask to download it again. Back to 28 the blockchain is good. Any ideas?
