wallet suddenly zero balance

I am using offline wallet, but I decided to run bitcoin-core for learning. I created a wallet, sent $0.5 to this wallet, first it was showing this amount on my balance, but then after a day or so it shows zero balance. I checked transactions list, it shows that I only had one transaction of receiving $0.5... What should I do to fix this ?
